Let’s get to it!

Thank you to Laura from LauraJacquesAimh for the nomination, you can check out her blog here. It’s so lovely to be thought of for these amazing blogging awards as such a small blog, and I really appreciate it. This award was made by Okoto Enigma and you can find her original post here.

1. I have two different coloured eyes – weird right? Still bothers me when you have to give details about yourself and one of them is to tick a box for eye colour and they don’t have an option for blue AND green eyes!!
2. I can’t stand artificial light being on when there’s natural light lighting the room already (school classrooms used to annoy me SO MUCH for this)
3. I find myself absolutely hilarious. I’ll literally be sat alone and suddenly start laughing at something I texted my friend a few days earlier.
What do you find the most difficult thing in the blogging world?
Definitely finding the balance between my university work/life outside of my the blog and my blog. I absolutely love everything to do with blogging but it can be difficult at times to find the time to work on my writing when I’m so busy with university. At the end of the day my degree is obviously more important than my blog for now and will take priority (even though I’d rather be blogging!).

How do you find inspiration for your posts?

I just write what I know. For now my life is that of a students and so my writing focuses on advice for fellow students/anyone applying for university, university look-books, student recipes etc. I constantly have different ideas and inspiration for my writing because I’m writing about my own experiences – I think that’s the most important thing to do as a blogger. Don’t try and pretend to be someone you’re not in the blogging world just because you think you have to be!

What’s your favourite thing to photograph?

Food. I absolutely love cooking and eating out (when I can afford to treat myself that is) and food photography is such a fun hobby of mine. Whenever I cook myself a great meal in university I just have to take a picture of it – mostly to show my mum how self-sufficient I am, but also because I get so proud of myself.

What do you enjoy writing about the most?

Honestly, this changes all the time! Sometimes I’ll be really loving writing about fashion e.g. look-books, wishlists, vintage, and other times I’ll want to be giving advice about university life to incoming freshers. I just love writing about experiences of mine as a whole and giving any help wherever I can.

What are you most scared of?!

Hmm this is a difficult one because I don’t think I have a standout fear! I’d probably say that I’m scared of not being happy with my life in the future. My ultimate aim is to love whatever I’m doing in my life, but it’d be more of a disappointment if I didn’t achieve this rather a fear.

  1. Who is your favourite blogger at the moment? Why?
  2. What are your favourite types of blog posts to read?
  3. How did you first start blogging?
  4. Would you ever like to blog full-time? If not, what career would you like to have?
  5. What TV series/ films are you currently loving?

  1. Food is one of my favorite things to take photos of as well! I wish I could just be a food photographer because I feel like that would be so fun to do for a living. But then again, I would be hungry all the time. 😛
